Toyota recalls 106,000 Prius cars

         Recently it seems there are too many complaints about the decline of the brake and other problems of the first-generation (1997-2003) of Prius hybrid cars, that the Toyota cooperation has recalled back there Prius brand cars of more than 100 thousand.  



Most of the Prius cars were recalled from U.S. with 52,000 cars followed by Japan 48,000, 1,200 in Great Britain and 800 from Germany. Most of the problem is about the brake which makes the divers difficult to control. But there is no reported about any accidents causing by the brake yet.

  

Shinichi Sasaki and Akio Toyoda represented from Toyota has announced to recall back all of the first generation of Pruis. Both of them apologize for the fault of the hybrid car and promised a brake-override system in the future and set up third party research organization to test its electronic throttle control system.
